IMPACT WEAPONS AND TOOLs

The baton is a valuable tool when used correctly and in the manner it is designed. In addition to the baton, officers use other impact devices but may not know the proper way to do so. The Impact Weapon and Tools course highlights effective techniques for impact devices and the proper time and use for them.

• Targeting 

This course is intense and physically demanding. Equipment list includes: Training batons, real field batons, riot batons,duty gear, safety glasses, inert training weapons, any extraction gear used by your facility, note taking supplies and liability waiver.
